Bernard hopkins threw a lead uppercut then a right hook to knock out Trinidad, so even the techincally well school fighters do it.

yes, but he missed and got countered when he threw the lead left uppercutt (that is the danger of throwing that kind of punch) by a Tito left hook, which he blocked and countered with his own right hook to send Tito down

looking at it now, I even think Hopkins set a trap because he knew he was making a technical mistake and that he would get countered, and he was ready to block the counter of Tito to land his own punch

        Hopkins is a genius

marquez set up those punches with the jab & he was in close range when he threw those punches. he wasn really on the outside leaping in with a lead uppercut. he set those punhces up & used the jab to shade the uppercuts coming.

hopkins was throwing & hurting trinidad with right uppercuts before knocking him out.

bernard would be the first to tell you that you do not throw uppercuts from the outside.

uppercuts are suppose to be strictly inside punches. Close enough that you dont need to straighten your arm out to throw it.

you are in denial, I pointed to what time of the video to go to see the lead uppercutts by Marquez, and those uppercutts I pointed at ARE NOT SET UP BY JABS AND ARE THROWN FROM OUTSIDE, NOT INSIDE

as I have pointed at in the video (link) I posted, Hopkins probably set a trap by volontarily throwing a lead uppercutt from outside so that he would block the counter of Tito to land his own counter (which is pretty clever)

haven't been owned enough already ?
              you're asking for more ?

                that is one strange punch
it is somewhere between a left hook and a left uppercutt

it is a fact that he would lead with that punch often

BUT YOU DO NOT THROW LEAD UPPERCUTS IN BOXING.

                    PERIOD.

If you know boxing you would know this. If you say lead uppercut in a boxing gym they would laugh at your dumbass. there is no lead uppercut.

Uppercuts is an inside punch. Not an outside punch.

Its a punch that is not suppose to be seen by your opponent because it comes from underneath.
                    Its called A Screw Shot....

Jones & The Prince had very nice leaping lead uppercuts, that were very effective when both were peak because of the speed and awkward angles it came in from.
