Dont go too hard on him since he's just a kid

teach him how to throw a perfect jab.... where he puts his body into it by stepping in with his left foot as he throws it... also have him turn his fist at the point of impact and make sure he brings it right back to his face.

If you got pads, use em'.

And make sure his stance is solid and he maintains proper balance.

Don't even let him throw a right hand till he's got his jab right.
