Tommy who???
To the team of boxingscene.com... if you ran out of people to interview.... give me a holler, I will gladly give more than a 50-50 analysis.
The fact is that if Cotto had the same reach, the same height and the same body frame as Foreman... he would be a prohibited favorite agianst Foreman. The only reason this fight is competitive is because people still have a fresh image of Cotto taking a beating from Pacman. They are not banking that much on Foreman been that good... instead they are focus on Cotto not been that good anymore.
As Tommy who.. I'm bias in the sense that I'm a Cotto fan... but I will not bendover and give him the fight. Foreman is quick on the feet and has great lateral movement. With his reach and size advantage he should be able to keep Cotto honest for atleast 7 rounds.
But if Cotto find a way inside and stays active without planting his feet to unload he should be able to keep Foreman from his title.
There is another factor no one seems to point out (too busy disecting Cotto's decline). Whereas Cotto is used to Big Fights... this is Foreman first exposure to the BIG TIME. How is he going to react?
I don't think this will be a great fight.... I see a lot of running, pot shooting, and grabbing in the Bronx come fight night. But this is a time I wish I were wrong... !
I have to go with the more proven fighter... Cotto in a borefest UD decision that everyone will delete from the DVR by Sunday.
PS - HBO doesn't even have enough footage of Foreman to make his "greatest hits" and Youtube only has the Daniel Santos fight... lolLast edited by Nesty; 06-03-2010, 07:41 PM.Comment

i like this post, but i do think yuri has some pop and can move pretty good. having said that, i think cotto will win by ud. i dont think the fight will be that bad as cotto throws punches in bunches and is an excellent boxer. and yuri will come to fight. i think this will be a very entertaining fight with cotto coming out on top.Tommy who???
