    you may or may not be right, but both are considered #1 and #2 in the 140 lbs division, and there's a wide gap between #2 and #3.

    but here's the point: one guy wants to make the fight (alexander) and the other guy is trying to avoid it (bradley). now as a boxing fan, who deserves praise and who deserves to be **** on???

    I understand that bradley doesn't want to be pushed around, but when boxing fans want something from him he should give it. I've been a supporter of bradley ever since he beat witter, but these ***** moves he's pulling against alexander are not defensible

      I believe they are doing the smart thing.Bradley will have his first fight on HBO,Get more shine and make a fight hopefully by next year.It will do alot better then a rush slap together fight.These boy's are good fighter's the future no need to rush things.

        that's not rushing things. bradley moving up to 147 lbs is rushing things. bradley thinking that he is lining himself up to get a fight w/ floyd and pac is rushing things.

        but if timidly really wants a pac/floyd fight asap, he should do the 140 lbs tourney. the winner of that tourney is a natural opponent for pac/floyd.

          either they figh with each other or one of them trys to sign a fight with King Kahn point blank... The division is packed with alot of talent and there wasting it with lesser opponents

            I see what your saying but these guy's are the future no need to rush this fight.IMO Bradley is not fighting a walk in the park Devon is fighting a guy with no punching power and not really on his level.I'm not rushing this but I do want to see it.But IMO Bradley has fought the tougher fighters let Devon prove a lil more that's just my opinion.

              Bradley is the num1 Jr WW for a reason is he not.He fought the top guy's in his div.Devon fights two guy's and now Bradley better get in with him or he is scared a coward?Come on people I want to see this fight as much as the next guy but Bradley been doing his job let Devon do a lil more.Bradley is still doing his job moving up and fighting a hard hitting WW with heart and who is hungry to make a name for himself is saying alot.Don't get it twisted like Devon would not have a hard time with Abragu.

                I understand where you're coming from, but after the RJJ/Hopkins II fight and the failed negotiations of Pac/Floyd, that philosophy of match making is untenable. if you wait too long you get a **** fight like RJJ/Hopkins II. another possibility is a scenario like pbf/judah where they were talking smack for months then judah goes and loses to baldomir, and it deflates the hype/build up and the fans start to complain. same **** can happen in a timmah vs devon fight. that's why you gotta strike when the iron is hot.

                waiting = fail.

                fighting = always win. (even if you lose, as long as you give a great fight, the fans will excuse the loss, as long as you don't quit)

                  so you have a problem with the #1 contender fighting the #2 contender to crown the jr WW champion????

                  c'mon man. I mean COME ON!

                      Hell no I would love to see this fight tomorrow.All's I'm saying is if they waiting to build up a lil more hype which they seem to be doing hell I'm for it.Bradley is fighting a guy who I feel would beat Berto and Clottey at this moment I'm not mad at the guy.
