He was just putting out a number, dude. Even Cunningham himself said that no offer was made, and I would have gotten the scoop if Team Bradley was informed of anything from anyone. If you got that information from the interview, you just heard wrong but if you got it from anyone else, they're lying to you.

But anyways, I think the fight with Abregu would be the better route to go if he wants a fight with Floyd because a win over Abregu would set up a fight with Berto in the Fall (who has made it clear that he wants to fight one of the top JWWs). A win over Berto would certainly open the eyes of one of them. Berto is HBO's child. If Bradley beat him, he'd gain that title. I doubt Arum would be interested, but HBO and Golden Boy would probably be interested in putting him in the ring with Floyd somewhere down the line.

Alexander on the other hand has no name outside of St Louis yet. Yes he's a bigger hometown star than Bradley, but outside of home Bradley is more known. And the way Don King promotes, I doubt Devon's getting anymore recognition anytime soon. A win over Alexander would just set him up for a unification with Amir Khan, who would avoid for him for the next two years. It certainly wouldn't turn Golden Boy's head for a fight with Khan or Floyd, and do you really think Arum would care? Then Bradley would just be stuck where he was last year, begging people like Ortiz, Khan, etc. to fight him.

They aren't going to expand their fan base fighting the likes of Abregu(Timmy) and Devon doesn't even have a dance partner yet for his summer date. They could fight this year and depending on how close the fight is(IMHO it will be a helluva fight), do a rematch next spring as their names will have an out of this world buzz.

As for Amir. All of the names you mentioned can ****, and Bob is testing Amir(as we ALL still have questions about his chin) against an old and faded Casamayor, but Casa still can **** so it's the safest test for Amir, actually the more I think about it.......if Casa still has half the speed he used to have, he just might give Amir some serious problems.
I feel you I wanted this fight yesterday. But I also see the value in both fighting some other fighters having some good fights and building up more buzz on this fight. With the right move's this fight could land on PPV.I like both guy's but I really like Bradley.IMO he has fought every good fighter that was rank at the time he was claiming up the latter.Remember when Timmy was first rank num 1 Devon and Khan was not even rank at JR WW this speaks in volume to me.Its also the reason Timmy is calling the shot's.Your thought's?

Khan is the biggest Hype job I ever seen and I seen a few.Khan refuse's to fight a real threat to that chin which is sad.Khan is rank num 3 but who has he really beat to earn that spot?Hatton who has not fought in almost 2yr's should still be rank above him lol.Khan has other dance partner's and should have try to get Peterson(Who I think would make a good fight with Khan)get a hungry fighter.I love Casamayor I feel he is one of the best LW's of this era.He is a sure shot HOF and still may have a lil in his tank. But I won't lie I would have been a lil more impressed with him fighting Katsidis who is younger and a bit fresher.Your thought's?

This is what I see bro damn good post bro.Oh and to add to it a lil Abregu is a exciting fighter and may raise Bradley popularity because the fight might be that good.I don't see this as a bad fight for Timmy.Like I said when Timmy was rank num 1 Devon and Khan was not even rank at Jr WW.

first let me say abregu is on the verge of losing soon, because his chin is really weak. he is a strong puncher but he gets hurt fast. berto beat bradley before they went pro and i see him doing it again when ever they fight. Berto can't even get a fight with pbf or manny anytime soon so bradley will still have more to prove. If bradley can beat devon, it has been said manny times that the winner will become the next star and they can get the big fights that they want. and with Don King, well after devon's next fight, his contract will be over, and he is already getting offers from other promoters with floyd being one of them. Bradley won't even have to fight khan to be the man if he beats devon, he can get the big fights first and then fight khan. fans want bradley vs devon more than anybody else.

I do agree with you about Abregu. His chin is about as good as Amir Khan's at 135. He likes to come in recklessly sometimes and struggles against guys who can beat him to the punch, so I can see a good right hand from Bradley putting him down.

But again, how would beating Devon make him a superstar? Devon has absolutely no name at the moment. Bradley's name is not much bigger either. Sure the winner can be a superstar in the future, but that's not for a while. I guarantee that the fight won't receive the hype it deserves when it happens. I wouldn't be surprised if it was about as hyped as Bradley-Peterson. Peterson had a lot of hype at that time and many were picking him to upset Bradley. Do you think any casual boxing fans cared about that fight, though? No. Not at all.

Berto on the other hand has a bigger name than Alexander. Yes Bradley lost to him in the amateurs, but what does that have to do with anything? The pros and the amateurs are two different things. And if anything, the fact that Berto beat him already will make him want to fight him even more. And as I said before, Berto is HBO's child so if Bradley took that title, it would make his name much bigger.

Does Bradley have a shot at getting Pacquiao in the ring? Of course not. But Floyd is definitely very possible.

peterson wasn't ready to fight bradley, i knew he was going to lose before they even got in the ring, and im sure other fans thought that too thats why people didn't care. bradley and devon are the two top fighters at 140. alot of people think devon will win and a lot think bradley will win. plus its a chance to unify three belts. berto is a bigger name than devon is now, but thats not what people want to see now. its not more hype with him and berto. Devon and Bradley been on boxingscene going at it for months, and everybody want to see who is the true best jww. like i said berto can't even get a fight with floyd and he is a bigger name than bradley, and beat good fighters at 147. beating berto would be a step up but it still won't generate the money that floyd is looking for. thats why he will have a better chance fighting devon.

You said no power.I clearly showed you he does have power.Just cause he does not have a ko in awhile does not mean he does not have power.
