in my opinion kessler really has regressive massively i loved him in the first 4 rnds of the calzaghe fight

everything went from the jab with right hands and left hooks brillant to watch

i dont rememeber one single combination with proper techinque hidden behind the jab against froch, froch should of been easy work for a ring general like kessler but in reality he made it hard work by trying to war with him!!!

It was 2-2 after 4 ounds VS Calzaghe who actually wared Kessler.

So as Joe should have not wared, like Froch.

Although Kessler has gone down hill for sure.

no calzaghe never warred he used his footwork and jab alot more and kessler then did not have the timing and was lost for a few rnds!!

warring his basically just throwing and slugging it out calzaghe never slugged it had

he created distanced and used his superior footwork and jab!!!

that is what inactivity does to fighters, sadly. you're fighting regularly coming up and then start fighting about one time a year. at that point every fight is a comeback fight. you have to regain your timing and refresh you technique.

i thought the froch fight was gonna be very easy or very hard but that the connect percentages would be much, much better than this. if kessler had truly worked off his jab, there is no way he should have landed just 19 percent. same goes for froch, who i thought fought the wrong fight.

I agree that it seems as if Kessler skillswise has regressed somewhat, but he found a new part of his arsenal and that's the warrior spirit.

As far as combos are concerned, you might think that there wasn't a lot, but I was there ( ) and beg to differ. The main difference from this fight and previous stylistically is that of Kessler putting a lot more emphasis on the bodywork. You could almost hear the thuds of those blows. It was awesome and Steve Bunce overheard Froch in the corner saying that those bodyblows was killing him.

Yeah. But I think the numbers depends on who is doing the counting, but there was a lot of punches missing for sure.
