i gotta say if the Pac fight falls through and he fights Sergio, Floyd has some big brass balls............Pacfans would still accuse him of ducking though..........
Check. I'm with you I think I want to see the Floyd vs. Sergio match up more so than the Floyd vs. Pac fight. But Sergio is a solid 154 and didnt look all that much smaller than Kelly so I think it would be safe to say on the small side of 160 but if he fights up there anymore without coming back down to 154 he's gonna settle into 160 solidly.

      yes.....really??

when i look at Pac and Floyd objectively i see that both fighters pose many different problems for each other......but i can see Floyd beating Pac as long as he survives the first 12 minutes...........when i picture Mayweather fighting Martinez north of 54.....well i can't picture in my mind how the fight plays out.....at all............

First of all, this is coming out of Sergio's manager's mouth. It means quite literally NOTHING.

Second, Floyd would beat Sergio. Martinez is too easy to hit, and his speed is so insanely overrated it's not even funny. And he doesn't throw enough or pressure enough. It would be a chess match that Floyd would win.

Floyd's straight right would be a magnet for the southpaw.

Floyd would win a 9-3, 10-2 type decision and make it look easy.

        And I LOVE Sergio Martinez.

handspeed, footspeed, power-----> on a pound for pound level Pac and Sergio are commensurate in these areas....

          both southpaws and both skilled...........

IMO Sergio would be much tougher for Floyd......he would face all the same attributes Pac has, but would be giving up reach advantage.........
I agree with you on this one. Martinez is 5-11 with a 76 inch reach as compared to Manny who is 5'6 1/2 with a 67 inch reach. I would give the power edge to Sergio (due to him being about 2 or possible 3 weight classes naturally bigger than Manny) and his hand speed and foot speed is just as fast as Manny's.

I think we all agree that if the fight against Manny cant be made, then this fight is the best one out there, not just for Floyd, but in all of boxing.

By the way, why is there no call for Martinez to rematch Williams?

              I dont get that.

3 inch height advantage and 4 inch reach advantage Floyd would give up fighting Martinez....and Martinez has the legs to catch up to Floyd......whilst i don't think it would be a blowout........it's def a 50/50 fight IMO.........

Has anyone noticed that Pac writes right handed??????? That is huge, I thought he was left handed. I saw a pic of him signing a glove and he had the pen in his right hand. To ya'll that might seem like a small deal but in all actuallity it's not a small deal at all.

Does Sergio write with his left? Or does he write with his right? Anybody know?

That could be his downfall..........any fighter...any fighter....if they stop and start thinking too much against Floyd that's it......all over.........Shane was too busy thinking and not busy enough throwing.......this is why i think Margarito gives Floyd problems.....he doesn't think...he just walks in and throws........he doesn't react to feints........
