Then we see it differently there Reed. That muscle Mayweather packed on had him looking real stiff. His offense also looked alot different,

i gotta say if the Pac fight falls through and he fights Sergio, Floyd has some big brass balls............Pacfans would still accuse him of ducking though..........
Martinez has a slightly better chance to beat Floyd than Manny. He's a decent 154'er but his size and level of fight is a good advantage.

Pac is a small Welter and length can mean a difference at this top level.

Where is your proof he is around 160lbs, I am just curious?

There is no proof as floyd no longer does the unofficial fight night weigh in. But ever since he returned to the ring he has gotten bigger and stronger. 1st he couldn't make 144 lbs against JMM. 2nd, he was out-muscling mosley who is a strong WW and small jr MW. Anyone that says floyd is a small WW is kidding themselves.

IF this fight happend, it would be very interesting. Definatley a good backup plan if Pac fight falls through.

Pacfans must really think Manny is a superhero!

They think Mayweather taking on the larger Martinez is a reasonable fight (as do I), but Pac would be too strong for Floyd. Oh...okay.

I don't think he is a small welterweight, I would say he is a full welterweight. I can't really say he is around 160lbs, because I haven't seen the scale numbers.

I also think Floyd was out muscling Mosley due to the difference in stamina rather than strength. Without stamina, you don't really have strength. Mosley was dead tired, and Floyd could have fought 20 rounds.

I would agree. if he can't make 144 lbs for jmm, then he isn't small.

it wasn't just the end of the fight where floyd was using his strength against mosley. floyd was stronger even in the first couple of rounds when they clinched.

either mosley was drained or floyd was stronger, but I don't want to say mosley was drained because that would take away from floyd's victory.

Seriously Mayweather looked more bulky in the JMM fight than the De la Hoya fight, when he came over to london to do the media workout i thought he was on roid..

I felt Mosley looked as strong as Floyd for the first two rounds... after that, the more Shane tired out, the stronger Floyd looked to me.

That also doesn't mean Floyd isn't a strong welterweight because Shane was out of stamina... because he is a strong welterweight.
