MAYWEATHER GRANTS A WISH

Undefeated pound-for-pound champion Floyd Mayweather recently spent time with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, a nonprofit organization that grants the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses. In a recent Twitter update, Mayweather talked about the time he spent with an 18-year-old who has Hodgkin's Disease, a type of cancer. "I granted a wish today as a part of Make-a-wish foundation's wish program. Me & Armando in the pic. Armando is an 18 who has been fighting Hodgkin's Disease. He believes n hard work & determination. We r both fighters who believe," he commented in the Twitter update.

he has been doing charitable things for a long time.....he is only now starting to feel comfortable about it being public.........

he picked up the entire tab to hold the golden gloves in Grand Rapids in the past, he was also in Grand Rapids cruising around during the winter when he say a group of children who didn't have gloves or proper winter clothes.....he ordered the car be stopped.........he bought them and the 300 other kids at their school books and clothes.........you don't hear about the stuff he has done in the past, because he wasn't doing it for publicity..........

he is comfortable now because he relalises publicity for his work and the FMJF will generate more money and volunteers for the various projects that the foundation does from time to time...........
