Comments Thread For: John McDermott Promises To Punish, Knockout Tyson Fury

Heavyweight John McDermott has promised to punish, knockout unbeaten Tyson Fury on June 25 when they fight in Brentwood for the vacant English heavyweight. McDermott wants to avenge last September's controversial decision loss to Fury. McDermott was seen as the winner by most observers. Viewers were shocked when referee Terry O'Connor handed down the sole score of 98-92 in favor of Fury. The British Boxing Board of Control ordered an immediate rematch. [Click Here To Read More]

John, you hit him with everything in the first fight and never wobbled him so i doubt it.

hope you get a fair call this time though.

          Deluded

McDermott is deluded. It was a very close fight this time, but was he too "fit" for Fury? Has that guy ever looked in a mirror or is he too busy shoving pies his gob to bother with that?

In the last fight he could barely stand for the last couple of rounds and was lucky that Fury himself was blown out and had lost the snap in his punches because otherwise big John would have been in serious trouble.
