I wanted to touch on a very good point that was made by a poster named *Ray

It's no secret that many of you (large Puerto Rican fanbase) are fans of the fearless Miguel Cotto. Now this isn't for all of you because some of you have sense and have admitted that Lopez ducked Caballero. This is for you idiots who like to say things like:

"Caballero isn't a big draw"

"That's an easy win for Lopez"

"Lopez isn't ducking. You have to understand boxing is a business and Caballero doesn't make business sense"


Seems like a double standard because these are the same exact things Mayweather fans were saying when Mayweather ducked Miguel Cotto and you guys were crucifying Mayweather and his stans for these piss poor excuses. Don't be a blind fan because Lopez is Puerto Rican. He is not the same fearless warrior that Miguel Cotto is.

Onto Gamboa fans. Again not all of you because alot of you are level headed buuuuuutttttt......

Some of you guys did a complete 180 when Gamboa ducked Caballero and are now defending Gamboa and using the same fucking excuses that you were bashing Juanma fans for.

Dude, I'm a big Gamboa fan, in fact he is my favorite fighter right now, but just in case you wonder, no one has a safe spot in my #1 ranking. Pacman was my favorite fighter before he started with the needles excuses. So don't take my argument as a "Gamboa fan".

Now, Gamboa offered Caballero 250k, an HBO date (main event included), plus a freakin title shot. DiBella himself confirmed it. How is that a bad offer? How is that a duck?

On the other hand, we just learned last week DIRECTLY from PR Best Boxing that Juanma never offered ANYTHING to Caballero. The 150k offer was a total invention from Arum, Caballero denied it and even Juanma's manager said it wasn't true. Also, Caballero was the unified champion in the division and he insulted Juanma badly. Like it or not, Juanma/Arum did duck Caballero. The same can't be said about Gamboa. Believe me, if Gamboa would really duck Caballero, I'd be the first one to turn my back on him and call him a *****. The way it is right now, Caballero ducked Gamboa by not accepting his VERY generous offer.

Two more facts to take into account: the total HBO budget for the Gamboa-Caballero fight was 600k-750k, so offering 250k to Caballero was already too much IMO. The one who said Gamboa wanted 1M to fight Caballero was DiBella, how the *** u going to believe what the enemy promoter says? What else you want DiBella to say? "My fighter is a punany and he ducked Gamboa"?

And to conclude: I also was a big Juanma fan before he ducked Caballero and started running his mouth claiming to be the best, yet choosing Mtagwa as his opponent instead of the "infamous" Caballero. Pacman and Juanma lost their spots in my favorite list, and Gamboa will too if he ever starts acting like a *****. The way it is right now, Gamboa can't be blamed for anything.
