What ruined Oscar De La Hoya's career more?

Running from Trinidad the last three rounds of their fight?

Beating and demolishing a living, and at the time a fighting, legend in JCC? (I don't think Mexicans ever forgave hm for that)

Or being weight drained and getting dominated by Pacquiao?

Just something inwas thinking about at work......

All that and a lot that happened in between. The strange performance and ending against Hopkins stands out.

Oscar was a warrior who regularly put himself at a disadvantage weight-wise in order to fight the best around. He fought all the best out there and lost of a lot of them, but he damn sure won my respect.

Mexicans will never embrace Oscar, he's only mexican when it's convenient to him anyway.

JCC was a complete hater jealous of Oscar's superstardom in America.

            Im totally with you...

I think that Oscar is an ATG.... He probably had the best jab that I had ever seen (besides Buster Douglas')....

He is one of my favorite fighters of all time, but it just seems he gets a lot of undeserved hate....

Fighting JCC and being too inactive.

He out-boxed Tito and gave him a boxing lesson. He was robbed in that fight and won a close fight against Mosley. He was also winning the fight against B-Hop before the body shot. The ending of the fight was strange and later announcing B-Hop was going to be his partner.

He should've fought Tony and Cotto instead of being inactive.

It was the losses to Trinidad and Mosley simply for the fact after that loss to Mosley Oscar gained the stigma of beating everyone..........except the elite.
