I saw a normal version of Santos, while I saw an injured version of Clottey. Or are you forgetting that Clottey was injured when Cotto gave him a body slam?

Are you forgetting Cotto had one eye? And how did you see a normal version of Santos? He rarely even threw punches.

          Injured knee > Cut eye.

He didn't throw as many punches because Foreman had such great movement.

Look at the Margarito-Santos fight and look at the Foreman-Santos fight...you can't tell me you see the same man in the ring. And a you're underrating the significance of a cut eye. Cotto couldn't see any punches coming.

People make the excuse that Santos was out for a year before facing Foreman. Well so was Clottey, when he fought Cotto!

You can't have it both ways!
is it just that you want to hug onto BOREman's nuts so much it blinds you?

because you do realize Santos basically was a once a year fight after the Margarito fight and thats with a tune up against an 8-8 guy.

              totally different aspects my man

Obviously a fighter won't look exactly the same as he did 4 years prior. But take a look at this previous fight against Joachim Alcine. Pretty much the same.

The blood was going around Cotto's eye. Not in his eye. He just looked in trouble at times because of Clottey's pressure.
