it is fair to say Byrd beat Vitali because VITALI QUIT ON HIS OWN IN THAT FIGHT, IT WAS NOT THE DOCTOR DECISION TO STOP THE FIGHT NOR HIS CORNER DECISION. Vitali basically said NO MAS, it hurts too much.

So since he lacked the heart to go 2 rounds with an injured shoulder, he quit, and Byrd won.

it is obviously a reference to Byrd's weak punching power, but it is not that relevant, Byrd could punch a bit, Paulie can't

for speed and skill he was at the top.... but that wasnt enought to beat the elite guys... i think byrd had more success as heavy than he would have had if he lost weight and fought as CW or LHW.

He had good speed and technical ability which allowed him to beat slow/shot fighters, he had very little power and got his ass kicked when he stepped in the ring with good bigger and stronger fighters.

Do u say this because you think then he wudnt have had the major speed advantage tht he did at heavy?

yeah at LHW, he would be fighting guys much faster and more skilled. looked wut happened when he fought shaun george, even though byrd was past his prime, george kicked his ass worse than VK did...

Vitali was dominating Byrd, which makes the fact that he quit even worse

Wlad destroyed Byrd only once, first fight, he had to satisfy himself with a UD
