Mayweather does stutter alot. Its annoying that when people threw Mosley and Pacquiao's name in his face and he stuttered, people saw that as being scared
Anyone who has spoken publicly would understand this or even in front of a crowd.

An example would be me in lectures, I find that what I have to say is clear in my mind but when it comes to saying it in front of 100+ people it becomes distorted as you try and structure your intent.

That being said, looking at the things that's been said between Mayweather and Pacquiao I think it's obvious that the two have a degree of respect for one another. Floyd Sr and Freddie Roach are the root of animosity between the two camps. I'd include Bob Arum but he's tied more to the financial side.

Floyd can give a **** about anybody but himself. I heard there was already rumors going around about pac using steriods, floyd could care less. But once he moved upto his weight class and people started saying that he was better than floyd thats when the "excuses and accusations", as you say, started.

This is like if you have a friend that is cheating his ass off in his classes, he gets the highest grade in all his classes, you could really care less. But once he gets into a class with you were you have to study all day everyday to get the highest grade he comes in studies one night and cheats his way to the top. Do you actually think you are not gone care about him out doing you, without putting half the work into it as you have?

Classic stuff right there from Floyd, just him really forming into the "heel" role he's been prevalent to be seen as for the past three years in boxing. He'd been playing it on a smaller scale against guys like Gatti, but his fight with De La hoya really put him in the spotlight and he started to turn heads with what he said, as well as what he did in the ring.

I still always revert back to the Fight Hype video of Floyd before the Gatti fight, going off and talking MAD **** and it all came true.

Floyd says it's god given talent, but no other boxer in history has been trained by two other boxers since the age of 3.

It's not like he woke up one day with gloves on his hands and a well-conditioned body.

The guy has been in the boxing ring longer than anyone except maybe Hopkins. That's all it is.

If hard work were all it required more people would make it in life, some people don't have the mental strength to work that hard. There were probably times when he prayed to god when the training hurt and the pressure started getting to him.

I actually think it's a sign of humility to acknowledge that his achievements in life isn't through his work alone.
