Casamayor isn't a great match up but it's a good keep busy fight. There is no one else who he can really fight that will take the fight on such short notice. 31st July is less than 2 months away. They need to promote it, have a 6-8week training camp etc. Casamayor might be old, but he still has good pop and good skill...his reflexes, chin and speed will be gone a bit, but he could still catch Amir and put him down. He hit JMM and Katsidis with some hard shots. Given that Khan's chinny, it could be a fun fight. Anyone who says he's ducking Bradley and Alexander think again....they're both tied up, neither would fight in the UK and neither would want to fight him on short notice. They want to get paid so they'd want good time to promote the fight and what not. If he fights Casamayor then moves onto a good top 5 rated light welterweight, all is good.
