STFU About Morales being shot in the first and second Pacquiao fight

This is coming from the biggest Morales fan on this site.

Morales wasn't shot in the first or second, Yes he was past his best days but he still had gas left in the tank. In the rubber match however, He was shot there and it was a pointless match but it's funny how *****s say that Morales was shot in the first and second match.

The best way to get people on a boxing forum to STFU about a subject is to make another thread about it. Good job.

Burner, why do you pretend you want debate in your threads and then put everyone who disagrees with you on ignore?

Bro I'm a huge Morales fan as well and he wasn't shot in the second fight. That is the biggest crock of **** I have ever heard. Was he at his absolute best? Absolutely not, because his absolute peak was at 122 and then 126. You can say the same for Pac because he wasn't at his peak either.

People think too much in extremes. If your not at your absolute peak, then you must be shot, or past your prime.....leaving no room in the middle. Boxing has never been like that, and it's only this new generation of fans that are on this garbage.

                shot no

                way past prime yes indeed

by the time the 2nd and 3rd fights rolled around Morales had been in three tough fights with Barrera, a tougher than expected fights with Injin Chi, Guty Espadas, Jesus Chavez a lopsided loss to Raheem and then the first Manny fight

so he had seen some fights where he really had to earn his keep.

but a true testament to the warrior in El Terrible he kept fairly even with Manny in the 2nd fight before his legs gave out and arguably won against David Diaz

but he was in no way "shot"

Morales would still have beaten any fighter in Superfeather not named Pacquiao or Barrera. So he wasn't in his prime but he isn't shot.

you mean like he was supposed to beat Raheem at 130 but then had the contract changed so he didn't have to make 130?
