Cotto Looks Really Strong And His Neck Is Huge!

Phil Landman said in the countdown show for the Margarito fight that 140 was brutal for Cotto, he was totally dehydrated. 147 was a bit more natural. so 154 must be feeling a lot more natural, he can grow some muscle and really fight, i think we might get to see a very scary and dangerous Cotto.Comment

You don't know what to look for then. He has another dimension to his mid section in the final picture. He is also sporting more of a 4 pack instead of a six (like in the mosley fight). His third row is a bit underdevelopedit doesn't look like fat to me...dood is cut...I think he's at his natural weight class and he's probably added more weight training to this camp as he would be comfortable with...who knows we might see him at his full potential...Martinez changed alot since he moved up from WW to JMW and looks to be on top of his game...lets see what happens...
If you look at his belly button you will see the skin folding a bit more than usual as to where on the other pictures they aren't, this could be because he's slouching a bit instead of standing out right. But there is a small pudge under his belly button where as he is completely flat in the other photos.
He's thicker just above the hips as well, you can tell he usually gets love handles between training, and although he doesn't have'em now, he didn't completely get rid of them. I repeat, his lower midsection isn't looking the best. I wont be suprised if he begins to look "uncomfortable" at times during the fight, or stands up right and bounces/walks around the ring more than usual.
I box man, i pay close attention to this stuff. There's actuall ya noticeable difference in his abdomen.
Also, his neck and traps are only bigger in the third picture because he's in the process of rolling the rope under him, whereas he was in a relaxed state in the other 2.Last edited by intoccabile; 06-01-2010, 08:36 PM.Comment

Talk about over analyzing ****. You must be one of those boxing experts I've been hearing about lately. You don't know what to look for then. Cotto is looking like a tank.
I happend to finish watching Foreman-Santos, an in no way, shape or form Yuri will get close to beat Cotto. Dude doest throw punches, and when he gets hit he just runs till the round is over.Comment

Mo, i just know the difference in bodies. I can put up my own pictures for an example. I know how i feel physically when my abs aren't right. It's hard to maintain my posture during hard spars
and he mentioned the dudes neck bein bigger. He's in the process of rolling the rope under neathe him, that's the same as FLEXING. .notice everything is being flexed in that photo.. hence why he's biggerComment
