Taking away the ridiculousness of this thread, Joe would probably be weight drained at 168lbs right now.

        Tale of the Tape

        AGE:

        Calzaghe: 38
        Mayweather: 33

        Height:

        Calzaghe: 5'11
        Mayweather: 5'8

        Reach:

        Calzaghe: 73'
        Mayweather: 72'

As you can see Calzaghe has similar dimensions to Oscar De la Hoya who is also 5'11, 73 reach. Seeing how JMM jumped 3 weight classes to fight Floyd , this bout is not totally bogus.

not really. it's just that floyd can't make 168. He couldn't even make 154.

Floyd would do to Calzaghe the same thing he did to Mosley

haha ok...yeah, cause Joe was ever scared of punching or is anything like Mosley.........First of all joe as a southpaw would have an advantage since Floyd has struggled with southpaws. Second of all, joe isnt going to stop punching. Sorry, he wouldnt care if he just hit Floyd's shoulders or his gloves, he would punch and punch and punch. Joe never really even got hurt in 46 pro fights against guys his size...uhh...I dont think hed have much of a problem with taking Floyd's hits. Also, I dont care if joe is slapping, his punches still hurt people and he would definitely hurt a much smaller fighter. Sorry this wouldnt even be a contest. While I am sure tehre are some SMW's Floyd could beat, Joe's the best ever at 168...he wouldnt lose to someone below him in weight.

Threads like this exposes boxingscene and shows the number of idiots who post on here.

Wow 14-13, this is split almost 50/50. Obviously this would be a great match for Golden boy to pursue. If Floyd truly wants to be up there with SRR he should take the fight.
