    HBO Legendary Nights

What are the best ones to watch?

I hadn't seen any of these before yesterday, but I've heard them mentioned on here a few times. I watched the Chavez v Taylor one yesterday and thought it was a good show.

    Any one got any favourites?

They're all very quality, of course, but for me the best ones to watch are:

    Leonard-Hearns
    Hagler-Hearns
    Hagler-Leonard
    Pryor-Arguello

      Legendary Myths?

Well, all of them were well-made, however the series spawned more myths than Ancient Greece. It caused boxing forums to be polluted with nonsense such as "Pryor was feared by all the welterweights and they wouldn't go near him", "Taylor never did anything of note after Chavez and was brain-damaged right away", and "a Nicaraguan judge gave Arguello every round in their first fight".

The best one is probably Foreman-Moorer, being as that it was well-made and also didn't spawn any myths that frequently get spewed on message boards.

watched Golota Bowe, just to see that 3 punch combination to the balls again lol.

Forgot what a crazy **** Golota was, what a dumb ass to throw not one but 2 fights away like that.

I liked how Golota's trainer talked about Golota biting Pouha. "Andrew said 'I had to bite the motherfu--er'"

Chavez-Taylor was great, especially to see what a liar Lou Duva is.

Duva (in 2003): I told Taylor to dance, dance, dance like Muhammad Ali, do NOT fight him.

Duva (before the last round): The fight is hanging on this round, win this round!

Watch all of them. Every single one of them is good. My favorite two are Taylor/JCC and Arguello/Pryor.

does the arguello pryor one go into the "mixed bottle" thing much?

I'll probably end up watching all of them now i've seen a couple and liked them.

I liked the bit with the ref in the 1st Golota Bowe fight talking about changing room before the fight
"Andrew, I dont want any of that stuff going on tonight"
"I do what i have to to win"
The ref should've DQd him there and then before he went into the ring.
