In my opinion, Ricky is a very wise man, it takes strength of character not to give in to temptations and expectations of others. I, being an ex-fighter myself, know that if your heart is not in the game, you can do more injury to yourself, mentally and physically just for the sake of fame and money! My hat goes off to a true positive example in a sport where there can be too many glory-seekers and not enough stable minds..Ricky, youve given us some great moments from your heart and if you never fight again, of course we'll miss you, but you've given us some great memories!!!

He had his limitations .. and things maybe went to his head a little. But in his peak he was a beast and a very cerebral fighter. definitely A-level

i don't think he should come back. he has had a fantastic career but i doubt that he will get his fire back again.

Sad to say, even if he DID get that "fire in his belly" back again,(what a strange description), it would be rather difficult to find, in that 200 lb. belly.

RickyHatton is a boxing joke and a fraud as a world class contender. Ricky needs to realize that outside of England he is a very average even below average fighter. He has no business being mentioned in the same sentence with good fighters because he is a world class bum and so is his brother. Shame on English boxing for letting these two clowns ever to rise as contenders much less some crap Euro champ title any clown can acquire. Even the biggest Bozo the Clown Enzo got a title now. English boxing makes me want to vomit.
