Personally i like larry merchant. He is the only announcer that is not afraid to say anything to anyone. If he thinks you threw the fight he will say so. It doesnt matter who you are, he will ask the questions. Yes he rambles on when he is looking at the camera, but when he's in front of a fighter he gets right to the point. And that is something that neither lampley nor Jones would be willing do. So IMO i say they get rid of jones and go with lampley, merchant and Kellerman.

seriously though, I do appreciate how Larry asks the brutal questions, his give & take with Lennox after the Vitali fight was good TV, the only problem is that he's getting too senile to complete his sentences, and he constantly forgets the names of fighters...boxing needs YOUNG BLOOD not only in the ring but OUT of the ring as well -

Maybe he should religated to only being allowed to interview the fighters, instead of annoucing as well.
