Is Shane MOSLEY still great?...or is he now a gatekeeper?

Everything has been really quiet from the Mosley camp. I can understand that because he was in the media quite a bit in 2009, and the first trimester of 2010 found him with a camera in his face full-time.

He'll soon be back to the grind. I would expect / hope to see Mosley against guys like Berto or Bradley.

Question: Is Shane going to be favoured to beat those guys? Is Mosley still considered as a great fighter? Or will he become a measuring stick for hot young guys coming up?

I think Mosley could beat those guys.

I think a Cotto rematch would be great also and I think it would be evenly match.

But, Shane is not in the level to compete with Pac or P-Will.

I think Shane is still a great fighter but I think the Mayweather fight was his last big super fight. I would favor him to beat Berto and Bradley right now.

I think Mosley can still compete vs the likes of Bradley, Berto, Cotto etc.. even Pac he has a shot in the first few rounds but if Pac makes it out he beats Mosley badly.

He looked really old last fight.. but outside of Mayweather/Pac i don't see anyone that good who would do similar.

Dude was done after two rounds. He is indeed shot and should retire, but if Berto still wants him he should do it. Even if he lost he'd probably look better in his final fight IMO.

This is a controversial view. It would be interesting to get an honest perspective from Naazim. Did he see anything during training that indicated Shane was off? Or was the gulf b/w floyd and shane just that large?

I think 'shot' is a very harsh assessment.

He went into his last fight a champ, if he fights Berto he will be in a championship bout.

From the start I said Bradley would beat him, I still stand by that. Even after his performance against Mayweather, I don't think that differently of him.

He is not a "gate-keeper". Losing one fight to one of the best fighters in recent history doesn't make you a gate-keeper. He can still beat most of the top guys at 147 IMO.
