If Hatton fought at a distance what you say is true. But Hatton ALWAYS mauls his opponents. His short arms are perfect for working on the inside.

Though I won't debate that Floyd wins this fight.

The way FLoyd MOves Hatton will have trouble Keepin him on the inside so that will be his game plan and when he cant do it he wont have a back up cuz there is nothing else Hatton can to to beat Mayweather except wrestle him and low blow him like he did Tszyu..

Hatton COMMITS more to the body than other fighters. That doesn't mean he is more effective. I am sorry, a body shot KO over Mike Stewart doesn't make you Julio Cesar Chavez.
