I didn't know but I guess he had hip replacement surgery at one time, and was out due to some sort of complication involving this. I sympathize because my dad has hip problems due to a car accident from when he was a kid and it's really hard on him. He's contemplated the surgery but it's a really tough procedure.

Hummm..Jim is a pretty young guy still. Its strage that he would be having such problem at this age. I hope everything works out for him, hes a great commentator.

I know people who work in PR for football, and then PR people tell the players to say certain things, and I have a su****ian that Taylor was told to say that in his post fight interview.

Either way, it was a classy thing to say, and I mean that in the way that a classy strip club only have private dances, not lap dances.

I doubt it really....he's always been very gracious in his post fight interviews. He's not one to trash talk either..so that being all 'him' isnt too hard to imagine; not for me anyway

havent seen the post fight interview or the fight
but he did the same after marquez fight
where the commentators seemed estatic about what he did right he was very critical of himself
            i like that
he gave raul his credit for the lil things he did to give taylor trouble and seems to have done the same here
he def seems to be a classy guy

I knew he'd kill Crappy! All Crappy did was run and grab his nuts! If he would have fought Taylor would have knocked him out! He doesn't deserve to be on a telivised fight ever again, cause that is 2 fights now where he did this! Taylor is the future of the Mids! The next superstar in boxing!

i think most boxing fans appreciate it when a fighter is classy. however, it might draw a bigger audience if taylor were meaner though. the general public loves drama

Why would he wish Lampley well? Is he moving on?

I think it had to do with Lampleys absence over the hip replacement...I thought that was very cool him wishing him well ( a speedy recovery most likely ). It showed that he thinks of other people than himself, which is rare in the sport
