the fact that so many people despise Amir Khan should be a signal to promoters that they cant just baby a fighter along and expect him to become a superstar. Amir Khan should have given Maidana his mandatory and then i would of respected him....and he'd probably lose that fight anyway

I know what you mean. When I read articles on Khan the first thing I read is "glass chin" but I'm just really wondering what are people's thoughts on the possibility of Khan being able to take Maidana's monster shots.

I think Khan has good skills, may outbox Maidana, maybe be able not to get hit with that big punches if he keeps improving his skills, maybe he will be able to take those punches maybe not. We will not know until they fight. A fight is a fight anything can happen. But the way Khan acts with statements like "I wanted to fight him." knowing that he is injured (I don't think he didn't know he was injured before asking for the fight) to show how brave he is are just pathetic. This kind of behavior makes him look bad, he should of just said Maidana is injured so I can't fight him, maybe we will meet later this year or next year, not ask for a fight that he knew couldn't happen because of Maidana's injuries.
