LOL Oscar is hated by mexico because we don't like fake people. Well i don't hate him as much as my friends and family but anybody can see through him. Their is a reason people have always said that his 24/7 episodes are as boring as they come. The guy is a walking cliche with all his fake quotes. I'm sure some people hate him because of what he did to JLC but most people hate him for his fake personality, not because of what he did.

Manny Pacquiao has whooped a lot of our legends and while a lot of people hated him at first, many mexicans now have grown to respect and even root for him because not only is a great fighters but he comes off as genioune good guy that just loves to fight!

The one fight that could have changed everything for Oscar and his popularity with the Mexican public, wasn't the Chavez fights. It was the Tito fight, my dad hated Oscar for what he did to Chavez, but whe the Tito fight came along, he was rooting for him as many other Mexicans and they were willing to accept him at the moment as he hammered away at Tito, but the moment he started running around the ring because he knew he had won the fight. My dad said, "no Mexican will root for this guy because of what he is doing right there." He came off as fake, and he did not fight the way a so called Mexican warrior would fight.

oh well that was the opinion of an old timer of my dad.

He is an ATG,. The Greatest fighter to come out of Mexico. And, in the top 3 greatest Latino fighter of all time. 3 divisional champion, first ballot HOF'er. Oscar dreams he was ever HALF as great as JCC was.

As for the bold , I dont mean to start a war , or to diss anyone. I will give you my honest opinion.l

Mexican fighters are exciting , few can win "boxing matches". They have that face first kind of style , where they dont care if they give up 2 to land 3.

Oscar De La Hoya was way more skilled than Chavez sorry to tell u. De La Hoya didnt rely on getting into wars to win fights. Boxing has evolved. Is not the same. Yes fights are attractive , I dont complain , but there are few to none left that can really put on a boxing clinic and still be respected as a great boxer.

Dont get me wrong , Im not with TS , I like chavez. You cannot escape the fcat that mexican fighters are brawlers. They just cant keep from getting into a war. That doesnt imply that ur a great fighter. I mean , I can be the baddest most skilled mother****er in the world , but hit me in the right place , and Im going down , if I get up , you hit me again a few times and Im off balance I might not get up.

Yes beat downs are attractive and we all love them.

But just take Tito-DLH into consideration for a moment , Tito was not as skilled as DLH , Tito had power , good movements , he bobbed and weaved a lot , he loved handing beat downs , but Against DLH , he was chasing a "boxer" all night long. How many Mexicans did Tito defeat. That stood there , willing to trade in an attempt to win , and just so it happened that they found a another hard hitting machine , who was not willing to get hit as often.

Im not arguing about How great he was or not , I think you might be blinded or something , dont really know if your mexican , but if you are that might be the case.

And another thing , dont be so hard on DLH , the man deserves his credit , I mean , some of you want to take Duran because his father was mexican , but not DLH , you take Vargas right?? How bout Benavidez.

I will never and I mean never, give Chavez any credit. I can't stand him as a person or as a fighter. I hated when he beat Taylor and it still pisses me off that he could stand in the ring and raise his fist, after the beating he took from Whittaker. He is disrespectful, dirty, and a quitter in the ring. I loved seeing him bleed and getting nailed left and right from De La Hoya. Mexican fans that support him are just nationalistic pricks. There is nothing great about being a punching bag and brawling. This guy had no respect for his opponents even when he got his ass beat and I refuse till my death to ever give this guy any respect. Straight up scum bag.

That's all right I'm sure jcc aint losing sleep about it.

His workrate, toughness, combinations, body punches are some of the best ive ever seen.

Watch how he started to outbox Randal in their rematch with perfectly timed uppercuts to the body. The kind of single shots Floyd would of been proud of.
