I think AA has learned he needs to start fighting earlier since his fight with Dirrell. I also think Froch leaves himself too open for AA's hammer shots. I got AA on this one.

I don't think AA can fight for the full 3 mins a round for 12. Froch will work him hard and get a easy win imo.

I'd say you can't learn an old dog new tricks. The Abrahammer has had plenty of fights to learn and realize, that late-round knockouts might not cut it anymore. When all is said and done, he should by the very least have been prepared for this in the Dirrell fight, since I think he was losing to Taylor.

Nah mate, he ain't learning anything anymore. He will take some punishment in the effort to get Froch tired and we will learn how good Frochs aim is (it needs to be good to get past AA’s guard). If it's any good Froch will lead on points until round 8, where AA will start scoring more and more until he feels Froch is getting worn down and then we'll see the Abrahammer falling on Froch. Probably Froch wont be able to get away in time, so his chin will be subject to AA's ferocious pressure and it will be tested enough as to let us all know, if Froch really is championship-material. If his chin withholds, it’s a matter of if he scored enough in the first 7, 8 ,9 rounds and how the judges scores the last rounds.

If his chin is as good as they say it is (which I unfortunately doubt it is), the fight will be very close on points (thus why they are arguing about venue).

Who do I want to win? Tough to say. I like both fighters, Froch for his excitement and Abraham for his brutal pressure. Ultimately, though, I think AA has a better chance to do well in or even win the tournament whereas I can't see Froch going much further due not only to his lack of speed and skill but also to the fact that he's been in a lot of wars recently. So Abraham it is then.

I'll be rooting for Arthur Abraham.

Although he's given some exciting performances in the ring, I don't like Carl Froch's attitude and poor sportsmanship sometimes. For example, he bitched about the scorecards after his fight with Kessler, but I thought he clearly lost (he perhaps may have won if he pressed the action a bit more, so it was his own fault).

I never liked the way Froch was obsessed with Joe Calzaghe looking for big payday. He should have realized he hadn't really proven himself at that time, and Joe was only interested in bigger names at the end of his career.

I think AA by KO, but I am really on the fence about who to cheer for. I will be happy for either guy to win, and a little sad for either guy to lose. One of those rare fights for me.

Both are great fighters, both are happy to take on the best. This is a great fight somewhat tarnished because both fighters lost their last fights. But that is how the cookie crumbles in a tournament like this. I like both fighters and am sitting on the fence on this one. This is a pivotal fight for both fighters.
