Can Matt Hatton surpass his brother?

    Well, can he?

some might say his draw with N'dou pushes him close

Hell no. Paulie Malignaggi is gonna school him if he accepts the challenge. Matthew Hatton is just one of the few unfortunate fighters who has absolutely no type of special abilities whatsoever. He's the level below one dimensional. He's just there. I mean didn't he just struggle with a 40 year old last month?

I'd even pick Jan Zaveck and a blown up Marquez to beat him, honestly.

He already has. Mayweather didn't duck Ricky.

Yup. Fraud Gayweather ducked the almighty Magic Matthew Hatton, no doubt. The guy's been in some serious wars with well known veterans/champs such as the 40 year old Gianluca Branco and fought like a warrior for the IBO title against the welterweight division's most dangerous title holder, Phillip N'Dou. And he even stood like a man when he lost to the great Craig Watson and was only KO'ed by a VERY deadly puncher in David Keir...

                  ...LOL

As dangerous as Phillip N'dou is and as impressive as that performance by Matty would have been, it was 10x harder 'cause it was actually Lovemore' N'dou who Matt fought. 12 rounds, to hell and back with the true Welterweight champion of the world and Matty was robbed.
