I wonder why no venue in Nottingham has made an offer. Either it's because they don't know that there is a fight to bid on or they are simply uninterested.
Bonusinfo: The fight is likely to take place at September 18.Comment

To save all arguments why don't they just fight on neutral ground !??
They have both had home town fights so far....so lets make them fight on neutral ground !

Making the fight in the US doesn't really make any sense financially. Sure you could probably get 15-18.000 people to show up, but that's not much compared to the maybe 35-40.000 that would go to the fight in germany.
Besides that, if they fought in the US, fighttime would likely be 4:30-5:30 in the morning in Europe. Not really an option when considering pay-per-view earnings.
Froch and AA are getting quite a large sum of dollars for this fight - regardless of where the fight takes place, so the promoters are naturally trying to make the fight earn it's money back.
I've heard Froch demands, that they should fight with helmets too??Comment

I think they should make it in Parken National Stadium in Copenhagen, Denmark. Easily accessible for both parties and very cheap flighttickets both from London and Berlin.
Parken could host 40.000.Comment

fight in germany....that way arthur can hopefully knockout froch in his home country...Super middleweight Carl Froch and Arthur Abraham continue to battle over fight location for their showdown in the third stage of Showtime's Super Six tournament. The latest offer thrown on the table from Abraham's promoter, Kalle Sauerland of Sauerland Event, would see the event take place in a bull ring in Majorca. Froch quickly turned it down. or atleast humiliate him for 12 rounds

Not sure if this is feasible or not, but why not let Abraham fight at home, and Froch choose the ref and one of the judges? A fight in a neutral territory sounds good in theory but I doubt it'll be anywhere near as lucrative as an Abraham fight in Germany.Comment

They're still bitter about their first lost, both of them are looking for their next fight to be in their comfort zone.Comment
