Size almost has nothing to do with it when it comes to Floyd

Floyd never relies on his size in fights. Sometimes he will allow himself to get on the ropes and let a wild swinging puncher bomb away to tire them out, land a fee crisp shots, and get out of there back to the center of the ring...

the only time Floyd tries to prove he is strong is when he puts himself in the pocket with his shoulder roll in the middle of the ring like he did vs Ndou and Brucelles (spelling?)...other than that he seems like the type of fighter that could weigh 145lbs vs a middleweight and win with his speed, movement, accurace, and intelligence alone...

Agreed. People talk about his opponents having a punchers chance, they talk about him being beat if he keeps moving up in weight, but the truth is, he has something what seperates him from all the other fighters who were sensations at the lower weight divisions and turned sorry once they moved up...and that something is his defense and quickness.

What happens when his quickness takes a detour? Hopefully Floyd doesnt stick around that long.

            147lbs. I don't think he'll cary 154lbs good.

I'm skeptical about him moving up fighting people like de la hoya though. DLH's defense and size along with his speed could make a difficult fight for PBF

I think he would dominate dlh because he has lost alot over the past view years but I would favor a prime dlh to hold his own against mayweather

DLH might not be AS fast anymore but he still has the ability to bounce around and jab and still got a might good left hoook. He still got the speed/size that can disrupt PBF rhythm

Mayweather is pretty much ripped at 140. Did anyone notice he was taller than Gatti? He actually had reach advantage. His shoulders look roughly the same, though he isn't as thick around the mid-section. I think he could do 147 and be pretty ripped and bulked and carry it well. 154 I think is as high as he could go, but he wouldn't look as toned, and he'd definitely have lost a bit of speed. His speed would probably still be far above everyone else. The biggest thing I noticed about him, that most people don't mention, is his stamina and conditioning. The guy is obviously conditioned better than 99.9% of the fighters out there, and he looks like he could fight non-stop. I think he'd put the effort into training for his weight, and he could pull off 147 easily, and 154 alright.
