Vitali DID duck Solis... Solis and Arena really wanted that fight, they never turned it down. After talking about the possibility of wanting Solis, they started talking about some date issue and changed opponent. Arena didn't make a big deal out of it because Solis is rated #1 anyway and he's next.

Btw, imo Solis has about 5% chance against either Vit or Wlad in his current state. So he'll probably just get KTFO if Vitali accepts the challenge. However, if he drops to 230lb, I HEAVILY favorite Solis to win. There is not a single HW with his natural talent and skills out there.

BOB ARUM: The Klitschko people spoke to HBO about doing the fight on June 5 rather than May 29 and if they did it on June 5, HBO said it would buy the fight but it would deprive the Yankee Stadium card of becoming an event and we declined that.

Arum never admited what you said, or at least I never heard of. The date issue, yes, as I said before, was it BS or not? Who knows... Arum wasn't that much interested in Solis fighting Vitali anyway and that fight had to go trough him for the HBO date and everything. So maybe yeah Arum had something to do with it. However, both Oner and Solis really wanted the fight, as they do now.

How the f u going to compare JCG to Solis? Those two live in two different universe boxing-wise. Anyway, what are you trying to prove yourself fanboy? I said fat Solis has no chance (more than JCG) or very slim ones... unless he drops down to 230-240, there you'll be forced to consider him as a highly dangerous opponent for Vitali.
