Exactly. People seem to be blinded by his performance against a one-eyed, trackrunning Cotto. Footwork is his kryptonite, but even flatfooted fighters have had success. If you throw a lot of punches, have a good chin and can crack, Clottey shells up all night. That's why I'd even give Marcos Maidana a chance against him. But Bradley would just use his footwork to stay away from his counters. Just look at how hard it was for Lamont Peterson to touch him, and Bradley stayed inside all night against him. Sure Bradley doesn't have as much pop as fighters like Khan and Ortiz, but he's very hard to hit.
I don't think Timmah "Duck-Storm" Bradley can beat any of the top 6 WWs...

Very true, but that's where his stamina comes in and bites him. He always beats them convincingly in the early rounds, and I'll even go as far as saying he's better than those types of fighters, but as soon as he gasses he shells up for the rest of the fight. If he could rack up enough points early, sure he'd win, but if not then we won't. A perfect example of that is the Cotto fight. And he looked exhausted by round 4 of the Margarito fight. I suppose Maidana was a bad example because he's even worse than Margarito skill wise, but an active fighter with power and a chin who can keep him in his shell would definitely have a chance against him. But a fighter with excellent footwork, skill, reflexes, stamina and speed like Bradley? That's even worse for him. And what makes it worse with Bradley is the fact that he's so hard to hit, even when he stays inside.Last edited by BoxerDood; 05-30-2010, 01:28 PM.Comment

Bradley is overrated as hell. It's just a matter of time before he loses against Alexander and maybe Khan. That's why he's trying to use his Number 1 "status" in the "Best" Division to call out all the big name guys. He thinks he's a star already is his problem when he's not. B-Hop had the IBF strap for years before he got any recognition. IMO if you want the Respect and you want the Money, You gotta give the fights the fans wanna see. That's how we'll remember you dude.
The Supposed Number 1 can't be afraid to fight Number 2. Especially when Number 2 is calling you out constantly. And truthfully He knows Alexander would KO him that's why he's trying to out price himself and call out the 2 best fighters on Earth, Knowing damn well both would kill him in the ring. But **** who would'nt wanna take a loss for over 5 Million?
He's scared Alexander KO's him and when that happens he can't use his Number 1 Status anymore. So he's going for the biggest fights possible.. Dude's a chump that can't even be brought up in the same sentence as Pacman or Mayweather.
Fight Alexander first Bradley! Then you'll have the name Recognition for any fight you want!Comment
