floyd agreed to the 144 pound limit so i think he should of honoured tht agreement and made 144 pound. i dont really think the 2 pounds made a difference in the fight as i dont think floyd would of had problems making 144 as he walks around at 150 so losing 6 pounds would ave a major affect on his body.

the weight on fight night doesnt ave a major affect on the fight as the fighter as already struggled to make the weight meaning they ave already damaged the body.

what he said was true though, if marquez couldnt even win a round, there is no way in hell floyd losing 2 pounds would give marquez the advantage, marquez wasnt even beaten by weight, he was razzle dazzled all night. Floyd countered etc. jabbed, left hooked, straight right handed him all night, didnt even lean on him. I saw pull counters etc. It was an easy fight, 12 rounds, marquez didnt win one.

Now if floyd had leaned on him, and wrestled with him, I would say you have a point, did you see how marquez was missing shots? I think floyd broke a record or some **** on marquez. marquez didnt even land anything significant the whole fight.

If he did name the round and time.

You do know why is called UNofficial right? Now I am pretty sure you do cuz you're a real boxer. But, still enlighten me please.
unnofficial or official the only thing that matters is when you get in the ring.... If you weigh more than the limit, I dont see the big deal in all that **** anyway. IMO, YOU SHOULD WEIGH THE SAME AMOUNT AT FIGHT TIME.

on a side note, I think ,ayweather would have problems at 142, honestly because he would be very weak.
TO TEST IT NEXT TIME YOU GUYS CATCH SAY THE FLU OR SOME ****, COMPARE YOUR GETTING WELL WEIGHT TO YOUR NATURAL WEIGHT AND THERES YOUR ANSWER, NOW EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT WHO KNOWS WHAT MAYWEATHER CAN DO AT 142, BUT " I " THINK he would have problems at 142.

I DONT THINK HE WOULD HAVE AT 144, THATS WATER AND A SOLID MEAL.

You bet he had problems making 144. Otherwise he would have taken a dump and saved himself $600,000. Floyd is a big WW.

144 was the agreed contract, I guess he couldnt make it and they agreed he gets fined for every pound he came over so its all good....the fight was also a non-title fight.

And it could have absolutely made a difference...2lbs is more than people think when you're already starving yourself to make that weight.
i agree with you, 2 pounds can make a difference for sure, marquez might have made out a little better if mayweather had to lose the extra weight and its the same for pacquiao and cotto, if cotto didnt have to lose the extra weight he may have done better too. thats why catch weight fights are a problem for me because they dont really prove who the better fighter is, after the fight the weight issue is always going to be brought up so whats the point other than money i guess.

I never heard anyone bitching back then like the pac tard did about mayweather weighing 2lbs more than marquez

                    Its within the WW limit.
its not about weighing more or weighing less.
its about weighing the agreed weight.

they agreed at 144. floyd was 146. so, its a ***** move to them. if oscar weighed 156 to their 154 bout, then you can say its a ***** move.
