I chose Haye. I doubt Haye will fight him, though, at least for now.
Runner-up would be either Adamek or Valuev. They might not be the most deserving candidates, but they're the opponents I personally want to see Vitali fight.Comment

If he can't get Haye, the best choices would be Valuev, Briggs, Lyakhovich or Solis.
Boytsov is too inexperienced, Adamek is fighting Grant. The others ranked by the WBC (Rossy, Banks, and Gavern) would be mismatches.
Shannon Briggs is a former world champion and several months younger than Vitali, so not a bad name on his resume.
Lyakhovich and Valuev have both held world titles, but both are Don King fighters so negotiations would be difficult. Briggs is free of King now, so it would be easy to set up a fight with him.Comment

Actually Briggs wouldn't be a bad opponent as far as a tune up and a decent name on the resume goes. Not the greatest challenge in the world, but so long as Big Vit has another fight lined up before the end of the year, maybe with Tua or Solis, it'd be okay with me. I'd forget about Haye if I were him. That guy is flaky as hell and would probably make Vitali miss out on a potential fight this year with his silly flip-flopping antics. Nothing to be gained really by fighting Valuev, IMO.If he can't get Haye, the best choices would be Valuev, Briggs, Lyakhovich or Solis.
