It's possible. I don't think we have seen him tested enough to know how special he is yet.
In a year or two, Andre Ward will be considered the best fighter in boxing

lol no. Williams will never become #1 p4p.Not so fast my friend.
Its not set in stone he beats Dirrell.
Green or AA stopping him isn't entirely out of the question.
He has a good win vs. Kessler. But Kessler is no world beater himself IMO.
I need to see more from Ward. I love his skill set though. Dude fights just like how a young Bernard used to fight. Head down, gloves up.
There are other fighters who I would pick to be P4P Number 1 2 years from now.
Mayweather, Williams, Gamboa, Alexander, Dirrell and Rigondeaux.Comment

There's a man a single class above Mr. Ward named Chad Dawson that may have something to say about that.
Considering Dawson is the most skilled fighter above 160, I'm going with him.Comment

His head's going to get him into trouble when he fights away from home I feel, but that won't be for a while yet. He does have a big home advantage in the Super 6, so realistically he has the easiest route out of all 6 boxers based on that alone. It's a difficult one to judge but there's no denying he's an excellent boxer and he might be considered the best in the sport one day, or p4p top 3. But at this point in time I could say the same for a number of other boxers I guess.Comment
