Cotto isnt a draw....Margarito is a draw he fights a lesser known oponent, sells 20k on a comeback fight with bearly any promotion, everyone supposely hates him but yet people were dying to see antonio back.

I live in Jersey and nobody is interested in the fight. The main point of the fight people are saying is "OMG YANKEE STADIUM AND IT"LL BE COTTOS LAST FIGHT!!!" 10k of tickets sold is because it is the Yankee Stadium otherwise i doubt no more then 5k ricans will attend.

The public isnt ****** everyone knows Cotto is shot even my boys that bearly watch boxing say Cotto is done now, and nobody knows who Cotto is fighting they just know its Cotto fighting in the Yankee Stadium.

Overall this is a weak and pathetic card they put out. This whole fight at Yankee Stadium hurt boxing because of lack of stardom, how the hell are they going to put bunch of no namers fight at a big venue. why isnt JuanMa or Vasquez JR not on this to help support the card.

The Paquiao vs Clottey card was total crap too and Arum should've seized the initiative. Boxing rarely gets an opporunity to shine and when we get the chance, these promoters have to **** it up with lack lustre undercards.....

Ricans beat off over Yankees most of the time this is suppose to be home for Cotto and bearly any tickets have been sold for a venue of this magnitue. btw 20k hasnt been sold i read its 13,500 but they can make 20k. i doubt we would see 20k in puerto rico for a cotto fight. maybe 12k will comeout over there.

i mean for a NY, Yankee Stadium, Ricans Parade, Boxing, Cotto event all put into one these numbers are highly disappointing

You are clueless about Miguel not being a draw. While you say something about Margaritos sale at Staples, Miguel has the same record at MSG. The Knicks or any other sporting event/concert has never trumped Miguel/Judah. Not only has he done it once but he has done it numerous times(much more times than Margarito). Cotto did 15,000 versus Micheal Jennings. Stop your hate and don't discredit fighters with numbers you are clueless about.
