I dont think people are saying Floyd his like a pillow fisted fighter..

But the question is .. who hits harder..

If you let both Pac and Floyd both throw their money punch at you..

My money would be that Pac hit slightly harder..

Pac throws a lot more punches and lands which is why he kos his opponents. floyds punches arent in bunches but they are calculated and precise. i think that floyd could ko motha****as like pac if he stepped up his offense but that isnt his style. he doesnt like to hit and is a safety first fighter, whereas pac doesnt give a ****, and is a reckless motha****a....

Floyd definetly hits hard. He had Mosley backing up, and hesitant. We can't compare their strengh based on their kos because they have different styles, but I believe that they are pretty close. Floyd might hit a little harder in my opinion, but pac is definetly a beast

Floyd seems content to totally outclass his opponents and not take the extra risk of going for the ko.
this is a great quality post!!

Hard to say...Pac broke Cotto down over time...DLH fight I don't really take into account since Oscar was washed up and simply gave up...and Floyd-Oscar was at 154, bad comparison...

Floyd may have good power but doesn't throw enough to truly hurt/stop people...

Neither guys are one punch KO artists obviously...Floyd's shots are accurate and technically sound...while Pac overwhelms you with his punches and the accumulation finishes you...

people are wrong to accuse pac of using steroid coz they say he carried his power
what i can tell about pac is he carried only his speed and he did get a little slower also...
pacquiao doesnt have that much power even we heard this a lot from his sparring partners saying, and all his opponent, such as diaz who said it wasnt the power it was the speed, oscar, and other bigger opponents say it was the speed...
i forgot that one sparring partner of his that got interviewed and he was saying that pac doesnt hit hard, but pac knows where to hit an opponent where its the weakness and aim at it good with barrage of punches, example enemies faces...

lets get real here pac has accurate punches also if he throws less punches, watch the delahoya fight where he is carefull with his punches one the early rounds and youll see how accurate he is hitting the targets face...

anyone that throws alot will miss alot also

he has stronger punch at 135-140

that goes same with floyd when he moved up weight he only carried his speed
so the thing is its ****** to accused pac of being on something...

but i agree on most people here that say Pac has slighty more power than floyd

he was able to knockdown cotto twice, and KO hatton but that is -
timing +power = knockdowns and KOs

obviously pac has 2-3x more punching power than floyd. even at lower weights championship level, he is ko'ing tough opponents.
