Back in Colombia and done fighting. I actually spoke to Miguel Diaz this week. He was in Torres' corner and I asked him about Torres. He said he's retired.

I like reading his chat.

His last fight was at 154, he's a career 140 pounder. He wasn't taking boxing serious anymore, he pulled out of the Holt trilogy due to weight problems. For whatever reason he lost his hunger to box. He is still young, I don't know what he's going to do for a living.

I think the combination of that headbutt and massive followup punch from Holt retired him.

That was one of the most brutal shots I've ever seen landed on a guy.

Shame too, Torres was a bad ass fighter.

They usually come back, but he might have a hard time with getting knocked out after having fighters down like he did against Cotto and Holt.
