    Hatton's Trainer: "Duran-Robinson will be a blueprint"

Ricky Hatton's trainer Billy Graham was in the SKY Studios for the UK coverage last week, and answered a few questions about a likely Mayweather-Hatton bout.

While obviously he didn't want to go into details about a gameplan, he said that the Duran-Leonard fight would be a likely blueprint and that Hatton, while he would be fighting slightly differently to how he did against Zoo, would win by "educated pressure".

He noted that, while Mayweather "put on a masterclass" he was potentially subseptible to lefts, and seemed to genuinely believe Hatton would be victorious.

I'd certainly like to see it. Mayweather has all the talent in the world, but you never know...

Mayweather will KO Hatton. I hope the fight will take place soon.

In theory I agree. But don't forget 90% of the board were saying that about Hatton-Zoo.

Hatton's overaggressiveness will only work against him. Mayweather TKO3 Hatton (in Manchester) or Mayweather TKO2 Hatton (in Las Vegas).

hatton has took a few bombs before without showing too much sign of hurt, although he would most likely lose, it would come much later than round 2 or 3 IMO, hatton seems to be one of those guys who will fight on until he is knocked out cold or the referee stops the fight.

              hmm

Floyd has speed. He doesn't have the power to get Hatton's respect. Speed can do it though. However, with Hatton beating Tszyu the way he did, and having an aggressive style similar to Castillo (plus being bigger than Castillo with more power) I would favor Hatton slightly.

Mayweather was only open because of the way Gatti was fighting, if you noticed in a lot of Mayweathers fights he changes his stance and guard a bit to accustom his opponents style.

It would be one great fight to watch, it would remind me heavily of Robinson vs Lamotta.
