Indeed. Whilst I can't fault him for going after the money, the way he went about his whole campaign, conning his fans and the boxing public at large, selling them false promises whilst pocketing their money, is just plain di****able. He'll probably retire undefeated and a millionaire, but at what cost?Haye is a fake; he's in it only for the money; he never had any intentions to fight the Klitschkos, otherwise he would have done it (or arranged) by now. He will retire as an unbeaten heavy weight champion after a couple of lame defenses.
Boxers like Haye disgust me. He should have stayed at cruiser, amateur or, better, become a barmanComment

Yep. No blame for earning money. Also the Cottos, Kesslers and Pacmans of this world earn it... they earn it
it's the blatant conning of fans... and surprisingly Haye does have fans in England, those who are desperate to have a British heavy weight champ rather than being desperate to have a real champ (this is not a dig at British boxing)Comment

i thought they were still negotiating money and the split of it??Hall of Fame trainer Emanuel Steward has witnessed a lot of interesting situations during his long career in the sport. Since 2008, David Haye has been pursuing a fight with Wladimir Klitschko, who holds the WBO/IBO/IBF titles. For a better part of 2008 and 2009, Haye verbally attacked Wladimir in the press, and even confronted the Ukrainian champion at multiple media functions. [Click Here To Read More]Comment

I like Haye when he is actually fighting (although I think he took more shots from Ruiz than he needed to). The way he has gone about all this is turning into a bit of a Joke. He is hyped up to the eyeballs over here in the UK by the media and the SKY commentators were practically chewing him off when he fought Ruiz. He has just disappeared and the only contact we have had is via his manager Adam Booth.
Its odd to see Steward get so knarked by Haye but he has a point. Wlad seems genuinely pissed at Haye and I reckon he has the fire in his belly he needs to try to do a number on Haye. Fair play to Steward and Wlad going after Haye!Comment
