Yes but its not the all and end all not even close , PEDS is far ranging and testing is not perfect , nothing is perfect in this world , nothing ,,,,, as it stands boxing has one of the weakest PEDS systems in all of sport , Boxing has right now the biggest audience its ever had , think about it beyond Manny and Floyd , Manny needs to take this test , ma and pa kettle are not listing to Conte they listen to the 6 oclock news , this testing and what it stands for is an honorable thing to do when your opponent asks for it , whether your champ or chump doing what you can to promote clean competition is whats important , not the public seeing its stars saying your not testing me , Manny should have just agreed at the start it never had to escalate like it has , its not a hard thing to do .

The important issue concerning the fight is the period of time from signing to fight night , with the USADA system the fighters will not use PEDS for fear of being caught over that time frame , what they did mths ago if they did , doesnt matter , that bird has flown , all this bull**** about USADA not working is nothing more than to try and give Manny a reason to not be randomly tested , now it may not catch them from their past but random blood testing will guarantee they are clean on fight night and clean for the 8 weeks prior ,,,,, thats all the testing has to do to b successful .

Of course an even playing field is good for sports, not just boxing but for others as well. But Conte's point is that this USADA system for testing is not foolproof, especially since the testing doesn't begin until after the fighters have signed the contract which means the fighters can be on PEDs, whether it be EPO or something different for up to 7 or 8 months of a year, which would give them an edge during the fight.

mayweathers reason for this blood test is to weaken pacquiao meantally when pac fights him on the ring
he wants pac to be thinking his weak coz of random testing too close to the fight while fighting him.. so he can come out the winner for sure

if he wants to know if someone is using steroid he should ask for something to be petitioned all year random blood testing to all boxers, but i gues he wont like that coz he himself will be exposed of wats his using during those months he doesnt have fights..

What Im saying hasnt changed Manny needs to do the random testing to guarantee they are clean on fight night thats all what was asked , your idea of do nothing will not get the fight signed , thats what needs to be done , its simple take the test instead of of trying to avoid it , if it cant detect mths ago it doesnt matter they cant go back in time and nobody knows what is used anyway , it can detect something and not detect something else its all speculation , random blood testing is the only alternative that is better than current testing of urine only ,,, what do you want Manny to do nothing lol .;

hah, still havent given a good reason floyd isnt in the out of competition pool testing. If he really wanted to clean up the sport he'd be in it and not worry about a small time of 14 days.

Exclude this word "random" from your vocabulary. If it were truly random floyd could be tested tomorrow. But instead he SCHEDULES random testing 1 month before a fight, which is dumb considering the gains of steroid/PED use isnt beneficial in just 2 weeks, its of months.

but keep magnifying this little 14 day window if it makes you feel better. The only reason why you are so obsessed with it is becuase floyd wants it and Manny doesnt, and thats it.

I believe like MANY others that pacman is juicing big time.
It started with the David Diaz fight.
Look at the Clottey fight ....how can anyone AVERAGE over 100 punches a ROUND?
No one has that kind of stamina naturally.
I think it would be interesting if someone looked at pacmans previous fights and did some comparisons.
