Can Dawson Make SMW Healthy?

I dont think he has any choice but to wait. There are no big names at Cruiser and I still dont see any of the SMW's fighting him anwyas. I dont think Bute would do that. I think Bute would rather wait for one of the super 6 guys and kill time by fighting guys like Pavlik before he would fight a guy like Dawson but who knows. Dawson is just in a bad spot.

Yeah Dawson is in his prime and the top guys at LHW are all in the nursing home. Just bad timing for him.

Bute is pretty much the only guy at 68 for him to fight until the super 6 is over and there's no guarantee he'll fight him.

But Dawson's still fighting Pascal what the middle of August? So there's still plenty of time to make up his mind. Be nice to see him try for another title at 75 first, either Cloud, Shumenov or Braehmer.





And I'm not sure he can make 168 healthy or he would've done it to fight Kessler a while back.

If he is coming in on FN a bit over 190 after a full training camp, him making 168 may be a 30lb cut from what he walks around at in his down time.....its alot D and since bad Chad is one of my personal favorites I certainly don't want to see him lose because he killed him self to make 168.

He should just fight Pascal, see how Cloud/Johnson goes and take it from there. Something good could come along soon, remember that prospect on the Hopkins/Jones undercard? maybe he could be a good future opponent for Dawson.
