Once in a while Floyd has beat the best available opponent at that time, but thats not saying much. That best opponent at that particualar time might not be much better than a mexican roadsweeper.

The OP couldnt be more true.

That's funny cause while Floyd is fighting the best fighter available, Pacquiao is fighting a guy who WAS the best 2 years earlier...

floyd to this very day has not beaten a legitimate hall of fame fighter in his prime.

I made a thread about how other true ATGs and at what age they faced their first HOF fighter. Almost all TRUE ATGs faced their first HOF opponent when they were in their 20s. Floyd was like in his 30s when he faced his first HOF opponent.

Now im not saying floyd is NOT a great fighter, he is but the level of greatness he & his delusional fan base claim IS WAYYYY OFF BASE.

Just look at his resume & ask yourself this question, name me a a fighter you could rightly classify as a GREAT Hall of Fame fighter that floyd beat in his prime?

            He doesnt have none.

The 5 best names on Floyd's resume are

            1. Shane Mosley - bona fide great fighter. HOF.
            2. Juan Manuel Marquez - bona fide great fighter. HOF.
            3. Oscar De La HOya - bona fide great fighter. HOF.
            4. Diego Corrales - very good fighter. Not a true HOF great fighter.
            5. Jose Luis Castillo - very good fighter. Not a true HOF great fighter.

The 3 true great HOF fighters floyd fought were all past prime & one was severely taken advantage of in abomination of a fight.

Floyd doesnt even have a ATG fighter in his resume yet he & his delusional fan base claim G.O.A.T?

After those 5 best names, the next five are

            6. Hatton
            7. Arturo Gatti
            8. Genaro Hernandez
            9. Zab Judah
            10. Carlos Baldomir

His resume is really thin when you start trying to compare it to other ATG fighters.

None of those fighters i listed above are true bona fide great HALL OF FAME fighters.

Floyd is a great fighter, HOF, with ZERO A+ wins vs ATG fighters. I dont deny floyd's greatness, just the level of greatness he & his delusional fan boy fluffers thinks they deserve.
no kidding why do you think he has a reputation as a safety first cherry picker full of excuses why he cant make the fights people want. i mean the guy is the only boxer to be called a coward on national tv. the guy retired in his prime because his opposition was to good. name 1 other fighter whos ever done that.

Sergio fans dismiss Floyd's dominating victories over Judah, Hatton, JMM, Mosley, and Ortiz.

Yet they will praise Sergio for struggling against Eurobum after Eurobum!

Bahahahahaahahaha these Sergio fans are depraved.

Okay. Please list the names of the people he should have faced then.

if you go on to name cotto and margarito, you instant-fail and this thread becomes a joke.

I can't believe you really put him there. The guy doesn't want to fight Floyd. Floyd doesn't care about fighting Pacquiao, he just wants money.

If Pacquiao really wanted to fight, he'd have the fight. Floyd just wants money, doesn't care who the fight is as long as he gets a lot of money.
