Why are you even arguing with me? The man said it himself, he does not fight for legacy. It couldn't be any clearer. What the T.s talked about was floyd fighting a prime Elite Hall of Famer. Cotto, mosley a few years back and tzyu were all excellent fighters in their prime. Floyd took the easier road which has cost him a better legacy. And quit the fantasy talk. Thats what Floyd fans use to justify his greatness. In a fantasy fight he would beat Duran etc...like that means anything when distinguishing greatness.

He doesn't fight for legacy. He says it to your face yet you believe he does. Man, his resume is so lacking for a fighter of his calibre its not even funny.

You threw cotto in there, but cotto is not a hall of famer. hes not a atg either, mosley was called out by floyd, why do you think floyd ended up at ww?? For his health? He wanted a fight with delahoya so bad that he agreed to everything hoya requested, and he wanted one earlier actually WITH MOSLEY (YOUTUBE IS YOUR FRIEND). He wanted shane, hes has numerous times mention kosta tzyu as well. Get real bro.
FLOYD WA STRYING TO GET TO TEHIR ACCLAIM WHEN THEY WERE IN THEIR PRIME!
Its not an argument, what the hell are YOU TALKING ABOUT?

HE MAKES THE MOST MONEY, HE WILL BE FAVORED IN ANY FIGHT WITH ANY BOXER IN HIS DIVISION RIGHT NOW, ON SOME P4P LISTS HES #1, HE MOST DEFINITELY IS THE #1 WELTERWEIGHT. WHATS HIS FAULT? THAT HES villified? He did that himself, but if you had to be a boxer you know damn well from a financial and skill perspective you would roll with floyd. Out of the fighters of today. Who in the hell would want a loss?

He wanted Shane , Oscar and Zu for the longest.

                Zu was on Showtime.

Oscar and Mosley didnt want to fight Floyd because he was high risk low reward. Shane and Oscar were on a another level.

Isnt he trying to fight Pac now? No?

If he beats Pac what will you say?

Now im not saying floyd is NOT a great fighter, he is but the level of greatness he & his delusional fan base claim IS WAYYYY OFF BASE.

Just look at his resume & ask yourself this question, name me a a fighter you could rightly classify as a GREAT Hall of Fame fighter that floyd beat in his prime?

                  He doesnt have none.

The 5 best names on Floyd's resume are

                  1. Shane Mosley - bona fide great fighter. HOF.
                  2. Juan Manuel Marquez - bona fide great fighter. HOF.
                  3. Oscar De La HOya - bona fide great fighter. HOF.
                  4. Diego Corrales - very good fighter. Not a true HOF great fighter.
                  5. Jose Luis Castillo - very good fighter. Not a true HOF great fighter.

The 3 true great HOF fighters floyd fought were all past prime & one was severely taken advantage of in abomination of a fight.

Floyd doesnt even have a ATG fighter in his resume yet he & his delusional fan base claim G.O.A.T?

After those 5 best names, the next five are

                  6. Hatton
                  7. Arturo Gatti
                  8. Genaro Hernandez
                  9. Zab Judah
                  10. Carlos Baldomir

His resume is really thin when you start trying to compare it to other ATG fighters.

None of those fighters i listed above are true bona fide great HALL OF FAME fighters.

Floyd is a great fighter, HOF, with ZERO A+ wins vs ATG fighters. I dont deny floyd's greatness, just the level of greatness he & his delusional fan boy fluffers thinks they deserve.
Co sign Clayton. *****s wont like this, but is 100% true

Good post, Burner. But Floyd needs to beat more people not just Pac to be consider higher ATG than Pacquiao.

Sorry but he is too far behind Pac in that department.

Although in a head to head match I favor Floyd!!
