    And the fighters now adays get criticized about their weight yet this guy Mercer is fighting doesn't appear to be super fit either.

      imo it wasn't luck. not with a guy like ray. when you've got a big heart and a hard head you're always in the fight and ray mercer has both of those in abundance.

      domiani was winning, but everyone knows what they say about the will and the skill. if he couldn't deal with a broken nose then it just wasn't his night.

          What does any of this have to do with whether the punch being thrown was lucky or not.

          Your telling me when Mercer threw that punch, his intention was to skim his opponents nose and get a stoppage via broken nose?

            when did i say that

            it's not luck if your opponent isn't tough enough to handle a bad break. fighters deal with injuries all the time

              Again. What does the opponents toughness have to do with whether or not the punch was lucky. That shot was the definition of luck.
