honest opinions.... what are your views on povetkin, do you think he could be a force in the future..... is he good, overated etc.

i dont think he can beat wlad.. wlad knocks him out

he did beat chambers, some say is one of the top heavyweights currently..

he does have power..

He's a good boxer, but he's tailor made for Wladimir.

His defense is suspect, his face was ****** up when he fought Chambers, and Chambers had a very low work-rate that night. He lacks upper body movement, not very quick defensively either.

Povetkin still seems like a prospect, I don't expect him to fight Wladimir soon. He really needs to step up his competition. He was overrated in the beginning of his career because fans were hyping him up as the next great heavyweight. Boxing fans now have a more realistic view of his abilities.

povetkin is a very good fighter. He's a tough **** who can get in there and throw hard combinations. He's too easy to hit though, I'd be surprised if he managed to beat any of the current champs but I don't understand why he seems so reluctant to try. He is what, 30 now ? Man this is his only chance at genuine greatness, he should be taking this fight with Wlad.
