Caballero's been getting screwed out of fighting Juan Ma and Gamboa for a really long time. After his big win over Yordan, it's become even worse. It's just sad because a guy like him who's been touted for a long time is 33 years old, near the tail end of his career, and isn't getting the opportunities he deserves.

He also has Jeff Mayweather in his corner now, which can only improve him as a fighter, yet he's not getting the chance to showcase it against the best because he's being blackballed. Just too common an occurence in the boxing world, it's too bad.

So be it, but Top Rank's Bob Arum is now telling people that Caballero priced himself out of the fight, which is simply not true (shocking, right?). The reality is that Gamboa and Top Rank simply don't want to make the fight right now. They know how tough of a fight it is. Top Rank wouldn't even give HBO a number that it needed to get for the fight after telling the network that the initial offer wasn't enough. Now it looks like Gamboa may instead face titlist Rojas now that Rojas' promoter, Don King, has apparently backed off his silly demand for a 50-50 split. "

And I'm still trying to figure out how this is different from the story we had up a few days ago?

Look, it may look Gamboa and Juanma ducked Caballero by offering him 150K/250K offers. But guess what, first nobody knows who the **** Caballero is, besides some NSB posters since Caba, started talking **** to Juanma. Second those offers are Caballeros bigger pay days to date.

If he is so hungry to fight this guys, he would had accepted the fight, but guess what he didnt. So he is just trying to catch out like everybody else. He is after the big $$$ like any other fighter. Caballero already gave up his belt to not fight his mando because he felt the game didnt had a big enough name, so why the double standard? he also said that he wouldnt fight Gamboa next for his next fight, so whats up with that?

Caballero needs to take what is there for him and STFU, because he is a nobody.

If you think Caballero's an easy fight for Gamboa or Lopez you need to get off somebody's **** or just stop underrating Caballero and how much heart and determination go into fighting.

Caballero looks crude to you, but he would be the toughest test to date for either 1. He has a solid offense that includes the longest reach, a 100+ per round, great uppercuts, and murderous body punching. A solid defense that includes the longest reach and highest head (punching upward is more tiring), relaxation, and a modified Philly shell.

He's very strong, experienced, isn't intimidated by bright lights or being on an opponents' home turf, good chin, great stamina, and he seems to have the heart and determination to fall back on just in case. Caballero could very well overwhelm and knockout both even though they are more skilled fighters.

Juan ma and Gamboa ducked Cab.

There's no ifs ands or buts about it.

I know you don't want to realize it but they did, Arum won't let them fight such a high risk low reward fighter and that's it.

If this was the old years they would've fought no matter what not caring about undefeated records or money.

We're stuck in the new era of DIVAS .

Listen to the big Rican nuthugger trying to justify guys side stepping Caballero. That's allright though. If he beats Chris John and becomes the #1 guy in the division, what are gonna be Lopez or Gamboa's excuse for not fighting him?
