I never said Mayweather was scared of Spinks.I said, why is Mayweather talking trash to Spinks when Spinks is the one beating the big named fighters like Mayorga/Judah while Mayweather runs his trap and fights nobody.Look who Spinks beat the last two years and look who Mayweathers beat the last two years. This has nothing to do with them fighting each other BTW
How do you rate Tszyu?

I definately dont think that you have to move up, but I do think that you should be rewarded for doing so. I have said the same things about Hopkins in other threads that I have said about Zoo in this one. Hopkins has faught so many bums his whole carrer and now stay's their and weights for smaller guys like Tito who only had one fight at Middelweight and Oscar who had really already lost his last two fights to Mosely and his Middelweight debut to Sturm. What if Floyd had stayed at 130. He could have the best resume in history. Who wouldve beaten him? He couldve faught Morales, Barrera, Pac Man, and Marquez. He wouldve been bigger, stronger, and faster then all those guys, but he wanted the tougher fights. Do you ever look at it that way. Hopkins might have got KO if he moved up to 168 or 175. What you said about Mosely is true but that makes my point even more greater. Floyd is taking all the risk by moving up twice and soon to be 3 times while Zoo and Hopkins are not. I dont think you have to move up but I think you should if you have inferior competition in your division, and thats what Hopkins had a garbage division and Zoo's division wasnt nothing compared to what it is now and nothing compared to the talent their was above him at 147 or 154Originally posted by jpboxer3Seriously though,do you think the best p4p list is for the fighters that have more success moving up in weight? It sounds like it..Does Bernard Hopkins ring a bell. When has he moved up in weight in the last 10yrs?Moving up in weight isn't necessarily the best thing to do.Mosley for example could have stayed at 135 and dominate that division for years to come but decided to move up in weight for the bigger pay day.Now look at his record since moving up to 147-154,he has 4losses against bigger fighters in Forrest and Wright.Mayweather looks to be on that same path.
In my opinion,Mosley would have still been a dominant Champion at Lightweight if he stayed at that weightclass.Look how well it worked out for B-Hop and Zoo.Comment

He's fought one top notch champion and barely won against Castillo, thats it!Three fights in 2yrs against crappy opposition. When Mosely went up in weight,he fought Oscar De La Hoya. When Mayweather moved up in weight, you would think he would be fighting better quality in opposition by now but he has not.
I really dont blame Tszyu for staying at 140 because he's only 5'7 and jumping from 140 to 147 is a big step which would mean he would be fighting out of his natural weight class and against stronger fighters with big height and reach advantages.Mayweather is 5'8 so I dont find anything special about him moving up to his 3rd weight class from 130 to 140 because 5'8 is the average height for a Jr.Welter.Last edited by jpboxer3; 12-07-2004, 11:39 AM.Comment

DLT, u say that Tsyzu should of moved up and fight spinks at 147 ages ago.
Tsyzu tried to get a fight with Spinks 2 years ago, but something happen and the fight didnt go on.
And let not get into the Vince Phillips fight. Tszyu was a sick man who had a $7 million lawsuit on the back of his mine going into the Vince Phillips fight.Comment

Well its obvious who I like...
But DLT you should stop owning on Tsyzu just becuase he was inactive. He was pretty majorly injured, he didnt just sit in a corner scared of fighting people. Would you rather keep fighting and **** your body up or let your belts go that you worked so hard to get so that you can still come back another day? I think the true warrior would swallow his pride and take a layoff to become 100% again.
Who could Mayweather fight? He could fight Tszyu thats who! Hehe. I wish these already rich boxers would put their money aside for a second and give us a fight the world wants to see.Comment

What are you guys talking about? Did you even read the post where I said that Zoo is in my top 5? I'm basicly just talking to JPboxer who is always trying to call Floyd scared and overated and dosent deserve to be in the top 5 and overprotected. I just said how can you say that when he has one of the best resume's out there including Zoo, and he's in his third weight class. Floyd has a better resume then Zoo and is in his third weight class, if JPboxer calls him over proteced then what would you call Zoo. I have no problem with what any of you are saying, just him because if Floyd did the exact same thing as another fighter he would say that fighter is great, and then he would say see I told Floyd is garbageLast edited by DLT; 12-08-2004, 11:51 AM.Comment

Why would he fight Zoo now for a few mil. when he can fight him after a big PPV fight with Gatti and make double the money then he would make fighting him before Gatti.Originally posted by Invader_StuWell its obvious who I like...
