Mayweather looked like he really fit 140lbs well tonight. The other fighters at 140 should be worried.
I know what you're saying but it couldn't really have ended up any worse for him than it did. He should have realized after 60 seconds that it was no good trying to fight him from distance, he had nothing to lose and he's never shown any real fear of being ko'd before.

I don't know. Getting KO'd, flat-out, or horribly cut is worse than ending the fight with a swollen eye and a bit of a wounded ego.

It all depends on if you have any belief that you can win I suppose.

Floyd definately did not run in this fight, he was just way too goddamn fast and Gatti looked awfully slow. Arturo didn't throw hardly any punches tonight basically cause Floyds speed and accuracy was finetuned in the fight tonight. Gatti had very few opportunities to try and land some shots, most of which was because Floyd went against the ropes and yet Gatti wouldn't let loose any kind of sustained attack.

I am of the opinion that Floyd hurt Gatti a hell of alot more than Gatti expected in the very first round and imo that played the biggest factor in Gatti not throwwing any volume punches tonight.

DLT, you know that I have always been one that has not let my disdain for Mayweather be any secret, I still don't like the ****er but he definately opened alot of eyes with his performance tonight. And imo he did good enough and then some tonight, now hopefully he will keep active and fight only big named opponents in the division, cause he can only go so far on the victory tonight, cause you and I both know that soon people will start to grumble about how "he beat a shot fighter in Gatti".

On a side note dude you have gotta be dissappointed in the way that Harris looked tonight right? And do you believe me now that Cotto is the far superior fighter compared to Harris?
